Industrial wood drum chipper is the ideal equipment to make perfect wood chips, logs and small wood can be cut into 20mm-40mm high quality length and uniform chips.
Working Principle
Drum wood chipper machine is the special equipment of producing wood chippers, it included the
machine body, knife/blade roller, the upper and lower feed rollers, belt conveyor, and hydraulic
systems. Knife roller will install two or four, six rotary knives, according to the different thickness
and diameter of the materials which cut. The upper feed roller assembly can use the hydraulic
system to fluctuate within a certain range.
The cut-off qualified pieces fall through the mesh screen hole and are discharged at the bottom. The large material pieces will be cut in the machine again.
Working Process
The raw materials is clamped and transmitted to the crushing space by the feeding system, then crushed by the fast rotating blades on the roller frequently. The larger wood chips will be processed for several time before discharged from holes on the screen. At last, the wood chips are discharged.
