Working principle

 

The whole working principle can be divided into 3 steps.

1.To mix the bitumen,rubber powder , talcum powder , engine oil and some other raw materialsvia mixing tanks(the mixing tank should be kept warm by conduction oil).The finished mixtures can be called bituminous mixtures . 

2.The bituminous mixtures will be deliveryed into coating pools.Then the base material(reinforcement) will be coated with the bituminous mixtures.At last ,the coated reinforcement will be covered by PE film or sand or other materials.At that time ,the bitumen membrane preliminary forming.

3.The finished products will be cooled by water and air,then be rolled by auto-winder.

Charateristice

 

1. Easy installation and dimensional stability: Able to be wieldable under wide range of temperature and experience minus dimensional change in thermal treatment

2. High tensile strength and elongation thus can accommodate movements of substrates

3. Good flexibility under low temperature, good adaptability to ambient temperature difference

4. Secure anti-puncture and good rooting resistance, no pollution caused to environment when being welded and good waterproofing choice for plant roofs.

5. Good plasticity: Convenient and fast treatment of detailed parts of corners and edges

6. 3 meters width reduces the joints and helps saving materials or labor cost

 

Application method

 

1.Make sure the roof deck smooth,clean and dry(Moisture<9%),then apply the surface of roof deck homogeneously with a kind bitumen paint till dry to start application.

2.There are two methods in application:

One way is by heating and melting method---Heat the polyethylene film of the membrane and roof deck surface by heating and melting method to be nearly melted (not flowing),then install the membrane fully bonded to the roof deck with overlaps of 5-10cm.

The other way is by cold adhesive method---Pour the cold adhesive homogeneously on the roof deck,then roll the membrane to install it to be fully sticked to roof deck.

By heating and melting method and by cold adhesive can be used in alternation in application as requested.

3.After application ,a full serious inspection is required to sure no air bubble,no fold,no falling away etc. to guarantee the waterproof life.
