Properties and application:
Lithium bromide is a kind of inorganic substance, the molecular formula is LiBr, white cubic crystal or granular powder, easily soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, soluble in methanol, ethylene glycol and other organic solvents. It is an efficient water vapor absorber and air humidity regulator. It can be used as absorption refrigerant, hydrogen chloride remover in organic chemistry, fiber fluffant, and electrolyte in photographic industry, analytical chemical reagents and some high-energy batteries.
54%-55% lithium bromide solution as absorption refrigerant, used in large-scale refrigeration system, can be used as water vapor absorber, air temperature regulator, absorption refrigerant, hydrogen chloride removal agent, desiccant, etc.
In organic chemistry used as hydrogen chloride remover, organic fiber (such as wool, hair, etc.) leavening agent.
