Product Description

IEC60529 fig 6 ipx5 and ipx6 spray nozzle for water resistance test

Application:

The IEC60035-5 IEC60529 Jet Nozzle IPX5-6 Jet Nozzle consists of a jet handle that is equipped with a pressure gauge and an easy-to-adjust flow valve. The interchangeable nozzles assemble easily to the jet handle. The nozzles are made from stainless steel.

The IPX5/6 jet nozzle is mainly used for rain test machine (waterproof grade IPX/3/4), which can be easily replaced, and is suitable for box type and split type.

The different from IPX5 and IPX6:

1. The IPX5 waterproof rating specifies a spray gun aperture of 6.3mm and the IPX6 waterproof rating specifies a spray gun aperture of 12.5mm.

2. The water flow rate of IPX5 waterproof level is 12.5±0.625L/min, and the water flow rate of IPX6 waterproof level is 100±5L/min.

3. In the IPX5 waterproof grade, the center of the main water flow is about 40mm from the nozzle 2.5m; the central part of the main flow in the IPX6 waterproof grade is about 12mm from the nozzle 2.5.

IPX5 and IPX6 have a test time of at least 3 minutes and a nozzle to case surface distance of 2.5m-3m.
