The product description of Potassium fluoborate Kbf4

Potassium Tetrafluoroborate is a water insoluble Potassium source for use in oxygen-sensitive applications, such as metal production. In extremely low concentrations (ppm), fluoride compounds are used in health applications. Fluoride compounds also have significant uses in synthetic organic chemistry. They are commonly also used to alloy metal and for optical deposition. Certain fluoride compounds can be produced at nanoscale and in ultra high purity forms.

Potassium Tetrafluoroborate is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity and high purity compositions improve both optical quality and usefulness as scientific standards. Nanoscale elemental powders and suspensions, as alternative high surface area forms, may be considered. Typical and custom packaging is available. The application of potassium fluoborate

1. Used as a flux for light metal processing on metal surface treatment, manufacturing aluminum titanium boron alloy and grinding wheel components to reduce operating temperature;

2. used as fluxing flux and other raw materials for making fluoride salts;

3.used as cotton and man-made fibers An olefinic agent;
an etchant for removing lead in a printed circuit;

4. a chemical analysis reagent for electrochemical synthesis; for welding or melting silver, gold, stainless steel, etc.;

5. for aluminum-magnesium casting to produce boron The raw material of the alloy.
