Brief introduction                                                                          

Flash dryer is a rapidly developing and widely used type of drying machine, also known as rotary dryer or rotary rapid dryer in China. The flash dryer is organically combined with fluid , swirl, spout, crushed, classification technology, and is an optimized combination of fluid technology, swirl technology, spout technology and convection heat transfer technology. The high technical content of the equipment is suitable for the drying of paste paste, granule, filter cake and mud material. Flash drying machine has the advantages of high thermal efficiency, short drying time and good energy saving effect.

The paste paste material can be directly dried and made into powder dry products, which saves the pretreatment before drying, crushing and screening after drying. Due to the fast drying speed and short heating time of materials, it is not easy to destroy the components of dry materials, especially beneficial to the drying of heat-sensitive materials. Product Description                                                                     

Working Principle:

At the bottom of the dryer, the larger and wetter particles are mechanically crushed under the action of the agitator, the moisture content is lower, and the smaller particles are en-trained by the rotating air stream to rise and further dried during the rising process. Mass transfer and heat transfer, so the machine has high production intensity.

The hot air tangent enters the bottom of the dryer and forms a powerful rotating wind field driven by the mixer. The paste material enters into the dryer from the screw feeder, under the strong action of the high speed rotating agitator, the material is dispersed under the action of impact, friction and shear force, the block material is quickly crushed, fully in contact with the hot air, heated and dry. After dehydration, the dry material increases with the hot air flow, the classifying ring intercepts the large particles, and the small particles are discharged from the dryer from the center of the ring. The dry material is recovered by the cyclone separator and the dust collector. The dry material is not fully dried or the bulk material is dumped to the wall of the device by centrifugal force. Fall back to the bottom and be crushed dry.

Equipment Structure Features:

1. The inner conical structure is arranged at the bottom of the drying chamber, which makes the cross-sectional area of the gas flow in the dryer continuously increase from the bottom to the top, the gas velocity at the bottom is relatively large, and the gas > velocity in the upper part is relatively small, thus ensuring that the large particles in the lower part are in a fluid state at the same time. The small particles in the upper part are also fluid. The inner cone structure also shortens the length of the cantilever part of the mixing shaft, thus increasing the reliability of operation. In addition, this structure can effectively prevent the bad state of bearing working in high temperature area, thus prolonging the service life of bearing.

2. A scraper is arranged on the stirring teeth. When the material is rotated and crushed by shaking teeth, it is thrown into the wall and stuck to the wall. If the material attached to the wall is not scratched in time, there will be a serious "scarring" phenomenon, which will lead to abnormal operation. The scraper is installed on the stirring teeth to ensure that the material is peeled off before it is firmly bonded to the wall of the device.

3. The top of the drying chamber is equipped with a grading ring. The main function is to separate the material which has not been dried, and to continue to dry, so as to meet the requirements of narrow particle size distribution and uniform wet content of the product.

4. The cooling jacket is arranged at the entrance of the hot air with conical bottom. The hot air begins to contact with the material, the temperature is very high, generally close to the temperature of the hot air, far higher than the temperature in the bed, it is inevitable that a small number of materials are bonded near the ring gap in the operation, and the residence time is too long, thus causing the material to deteriorate. In order to avoid this phenomenon, the local jacket can reduce the temperature of the wall and make the operation go smoothly.

Because of the above structural characteristics of flash dryer, its performance has the following advantages compared with other driers:

(1). High drying strength. Due to centrifuge, shearing, collision and friction, the family is particulate and highly dispersed, and the relative velocity between gas-solid phases is relatively large, which enhances mass transfer and heat transfer.

(2). Suitable for heat sensitive materials. The high temperature area at the bottom of the dryer makes it difficult to directly contact the material with the hot surface. In addition, there is a cooling jacket, and the stirring teeth are equipped with a sharp plate, all of which solve the problem of material sticking to the wall and coking.

(3). Process simplification. Compared with other types of dryer, flash dryer can dry paste, mud, filter cake and other materials into even powder products at one time, without grinding, screening and other processes.

(4). Effective control of final moisture and fineness. The adjustment of feed and hot air temperature and the coordination and unification of classifier can fully control the final moisture content and finished product granularity, thus ensuring the wetness and fineness of the product.
