Alfalfa rotary dryer, also called pipeline type drying machinery, adopting twice circulate heating system, is our newly developed advanced drying equipment, and show the features of automatic feeding, high hot airflow speed, fully mixing of airflow and materials, big drying strength, lower dust and bigger drying capacity. Moisture in the raw materials of less than 40% can be drying one time to meet the requirement for coal bar production, which greatly reduced the labor intensity compared with commonly used drier.

Available materials of Alfalfa rotary dryer:

Alfalfa rotary dryer is suitable for dry biomass materials, like: sawdust, rice husk, grass, straw and stalks, peanut shell powder, coconut shell and so one.

But, you should make sure the size of material is less than 5mm. That’s to say, if your material is big, crush them first.

How does Alfalfa rotary dryer works:

In this system, wet material is put into the hopper. At the same time fuel furnace produces large volume of hot air, which is driven into steel pipes, mixed with wet sawdust and attracted through curving pipes and drying chamber by the power of fan blower. Fast moving hot air sustains and is mixed with raw material sent by spiral feeder in the suspending state through the steel pipe, and moisture evaporates asthe material traverses along the steel pipe and is rendered dry at the discharge end.

1. It is suitable for drying materials of moisture 20-70%.

2. It is suitable for drying materials like sawdust, rice hull, milling wheat straw, corn stalks and so on.

3. It is equipped with two fuel boilers, inlet, steel pipe, exhaust blower (fan), air lock and cyclone. Wet materials are input into the hopper.

4. The fuel boiler generates hot air which mixes with wet materials and then is sucked into the pipes by the exhaust blower (fan) quickly. And then hot air is flowing and going though the curving pipes and buffer (drying chamber) of dryer, thus wet materials is finished to dry, and the dried materials are discharged from the outlet with air lock.

5. It reduces the moisture to 8-12%.

6. Clients can change the angle of dryer base on the production field.

7. It is only to control the moisture of raw material at a reasonable range that can make good result of biomass briquettes. Or the briquettes will be broken because of too loose or too dry.

You can  use almost all the agricultural wastes, like: sawdust, rice husk, stalk, straw, corn,etc.

--- What is the max feeding moisture?

We advise you use the materials 50%. Then it canbe dried to 8% one time. If the mositure is higher, the capacity is lower.
