Introduction：
17AM series products are thermal protector using bimetal metal as the temperature sensing element, which has the double protection function of temperature and the over current. 17AM can be applied for transformers; battery; lighting electrics; cleaning machine; water pump; electric tools; electric heating pad; and the household appliances. 

Work Principle：
The principle is easy and effective, the metal piece’s action is as per the current on the protector and the ambient temperature. if the temperature reaches the trip temperature, the double metal piece acts fast to cut off the power. When the temperature lows to the restore temperature, the contact is back to position. The double metal piece can supply the thermal sensibility and the current sensibility at the overload condition. When blocking, the combination of the metal piece and the resistance heating fuse can supply the very precise tripping time, and supply the maximum protecting.
