About charcoal making machine 

 

Charcoal making machine means a carbonization furnace which can turn wood wastes, biomass wastes, forest wastes, agrilture wastes into charcoal state. In old times, people always built carbonization kiln by using refractory bricks and clay. Then put biomass raw material into this carbonization kiln, and after 36-72 hours carbonizing time, we can get charcoal lumps. This natural way can make us get high qulity charcoal lumps, but it can produce a lot of smoke and such a long carbonizing time really let charcoal making supplier down. So people became to design natural carbonizaion furnace, the airflow type carbonization furnace, and rotary type continuous type carbonization furnace, etc. to instead of carbonization kiln. From natural type carbonization furnace to continuous type carbonization furnace, the carbonizing time becomes less and less. For natural type, we need 24-36 hours; but for airflow type, we only need 8-10 hours; and for continuous type, we only need 40-45 minutes. For this artical, I want to explain three main kinds charcoal making machines, I mean carbonization furnaces for you:

 

Type-1: ROTARY CONTINUOUS CHARCOAL MAKING MACHINE

 

Rotary continuous charcoal making machine is the newest type charcoal making machine in China. And it is specially designed for fine biomass powder, such as wood sawdust powder, fruit shell powder, etc. It is used to carbonize fine biomass powder into charcoal powder in a short time for only 35-45 minutes. Its fuel can be Gas, Coal, etc. And its smoke can be recycled. Rotary continuous charcoal making machine consists of six main parts:

 

1> Inputting conveyor. This conveyor is screw conveyor, it is used to convey fine biomass powder into rotary drum.

2> Rotary drum. This is the main part of rotary charcoal making machine. Fine biomass powder will be carbonized in this drum.

3> Ignation cable switch and pipes. They are used to convey burning energy for rotary drum and then provide high temperature for charcoal making machine.

4> PLC. it is used to operate the whole charcoal making machine automatically.

5> Motors.

6> Outputting conveyor.

 

The working process from biomass wastes to charcoal powder or even charcoal briquettes are as follows:

 

Step 1: Crusher ------ Grind biomass wastes into fine powder, which is around 1-2mm.

Step 2: Rotary carbonization furnace ------ Turn fine biomass powder into charcoal powder.

Stpe 3: Mixer ------ Mix liquid binder with charcoal powder evenly.

Step 4: Briquette machine ------ Punch or squeeze fine mixed charcoal powder into briquettes.

Type-2: AIRFLOW TYPE CHARCOAL MAKING MACHINE

 

Airflow type charcoal making machine is cylinder shape charcoal making machine. It contains a innner furnace inside, the innner furnace can be pulled out. So we can enlarge its production capacity by adding one extra inner furnace. Airflow type charcoal making machine is used to carbonize big size biomass raw material into big size charcoal lumps. And these bigger size charcoal lumps can be used as natural bbq material directly. Airflow type charcoal making machine's fuel can be wood, coal, gas, etc.

Type -3: NATURAL TYPE CHARCOAL MAKING MACHINE

 

Natural type charcoal making machine's working process is the same as natural carbonizaion kiln. Its working process is incomplete combustion. So its carbonizing time is long and its carbonizing time is around 36-72 hours. And its raw material is the same as airflow type charcoal making machine. Natural type charcoal making machine is made by refractory bricks and does not contain inner furnace.
