How does our heat exchanger work?

Refrigerant vapor flows through the titanium twisted tube inside in a counterflow direction to the liquid refrigerant flowing in the plastic cabinet between the inner tube and outer shell. This counterflow path provides the greatest temperature difference between the two refrigerant streams to yield optimum heat transfer. To further maximize heat exchanger performance with minimum size, the inner tube is convoluted to impart turbulence to both refrigerant flows while the straight-through design helps maintain low refrigerant pressure drops.

 

 

Working condition:

·Water temperature: within 30°C

·Water pressure for testing: 5bar

·Gas pressure for testing: 35bar

Titanium is a much stronger material that is virtually impervious to the chemicals used in the pool water. Some companies use Cupronickle heat exchangers. This used to be the norm but they are more vulnerable to corrosion, perforation and system failure.

Only Titanium can stand up to the corrosive effects of salts and chlorine in swimming pool water. There is a10 Year Limited Warranty on titanium heat exchanger coils.
