Our MT-280, AC clamp meter, is multifunctional electroscope. It can proivde you measure current(A), voltage(V), resistance(Ω) measurements and continuity check with one unit. This is compact body and it has only 100g of lightweight and 16mm of thickness, so you can put it in your pocket. It can be used in a wide temperature range, -25℃~65℃. The body is very tough and durable even if it falls from 1m on concrete.
<Danger>
●Measuring a location in a category with a larger value than the measurement category displayed on the product may lead to a serious accident such as electric shock.
●To prevent electric shock, do not touch the barrier during use.
●Do not input voltage to the resistance measurement and continuity check functions.
It will destroy the product and cause personal injury.
To prevent an electrical accident, turn off the power of the measurement circuit before measuring.
<Cautions>
●To avoid electric shock, short-circuit accident, or damage to the product, remove the test lead from the object to be measured when switching the rotary switch.
●To prevent an electric shock accident, use a test lead that meets the following conditions when measuring the voltage of the power supply line.
- Compliant with safety standard IEC61010 or EN61010
- Measurement category III or IV
- The rated voltage is higher than the measured voltage
●The optional test leads of this product comply with the safety standard EN61010.
Use according to the measurement category and rated voltage indicated on the test lead.
●Do not install in the following places as it may cause a malfunction or accident of the product.
- Places that gets hot in direct sunlight, where corrosive gas or explosive gas is generated,
near a charged object that generates strong electromagnetic waves.
-Near induction heating equipment (high frequency induction heating equipment, IH cookware, etc.)
-Many mechanical vibrations
-Places exposed to water, oil, chemicals, solvents, etc.
-High humidity, places where condensation occurs
-Dusty places
●Because there is a risk of electric shock, check the test lead and flexible sensor (optional) for tearing or exposed metal before use.
If it is damaged, replace it with one specified by us.
●To prevent short-circuit accidents, be sure to attach a cap when measuring in measurement category CAT III.
●If the cap is inadvertently removed during measurement, stop the measurement.
