Braiding
1.There are three types of shielding.The first one is the standard shielding. The structure is single-sided APC(Aluminum-plastic composite) tape plus braiding.
2.Then the second one is the triple-layer shielding. The structure is single-sided APC tape plus braiding plus double-sided APC tape. Lastly the third one is the four-layer shielding. The structure is single-sided APC tape plus braiding plus double-sided APC tape plus braiding.
3.The shield can help to reduce signal interference. It can prevent the outside condition from affecting the transmission. Likewise, it can prevent the transmission from affecting the outside condition.
4.The shielding also serves as an outer conductor. The greater thickness and higher density of shielding is, the higher strength of protection will be.The materials of the shielding are various. They include aluminum-polymer taped wrapping, copper braiding, copper taped wrapping,etc. So far coaxial cables have adopted the braiding of Al-Mg Alloy Wire. So they can increase the strength and reduce cost. The copper wire and copper-clad aluminum wire are a bit expensive. Thus, its usage number isn’t large.
