The machine is suitable to process all kinds of small and middle-sized shaft and plate work piece, and could also turn various threads, circle arc, circular cone, inside and outside surface of revolved body. The body structure is one piece, with a solid base and a downfeed centre, 45° saddle design for good vibration damping and reduced deformation, providing a very stable base for the head and turret, 45° sloping bed structure for easy loading and unloading of steel and smoother chip removal.

The DAS 46 series is available with the optional FAUNC 0iTF control package and Siemens 828D control package, 8.4' display, 10.4' display, additional interfaces, etc.
