Calcium fluoride shows good optical and thermo-mechanical properties. It is widely used as optical windows, lenses and prisms in 0.13μm~9.0μm. For its optical isotropy, low absorption and low refractive index. CaF2 has found unique advantages in high power laser and UV laser optics.

Beijing Glass Research Institute founded in 1960s, we are the state owned institute pioneered in optical materials.

Now our company has 5 business units, they are Crystal, which include optic crystal and scintillation crystal growth and processing;

the special fiber, which includes various silica fiber applied in UV , visible ,infrared range and polarization maintaining optical fiber,

the optical processing, like the Windows, Mirrors, Lenses, Prisms, Filters;

the special glass, mainly the sealing glass and lubricant glass;

the temperature components, such as Beckman thermometer, industrial thermistors.
