Character	An almost colour less or pale – yellowish liquid, miscible with water, soluble in acetone and in alcohol

Relative Density	Between 1.06 and 1.07g, determined at 20⁰C
pH	Dilute 5.0 ml to 100.0 ml with carbon dioxide free water R. the pH of the solution is 5.5 to 7.0
