Products Description

“Kaikouzu” is a Honkaku (Genuine)Imo shochu carefully brewed from the rare sweet potato, “Kuri Kogane” which is procured by contract from Kagoshima Prefecture, the mecca of Honkaku shochu. Serve mixed with hot water to enhance the aroma and sweetness.

Aged in the Oak barrel for 3 years. Mellow flavor and rich taste.

Imo shochu produced from “Koganesengan” sweet potato made in Chiran, Minami-Satsuma, Kyushu, traditional “Kuro-koji” (black malted rice), and Kamegaoka spring water. Rich sweet potato aroma and clear, crisp aftertaste. Named in honor of a chief retainer of Satsuma-clan (han), south Kyushu.

Blended with Shochu stored in an oak barrel. Sweet aroma and mild taste.
