Product description
Laminated sulphur dioxide generating sheets (sulphur pads) in the table grape industry. It protects table grapes during postharvest storage and transportation againgst fungal decay caused by Botrytis cinerea (grey mould).

The unique and innovative construction of this kind of paper ensures a predictable and consistent emission of gas over an extended period of 120 days. This has the benefit of maximum fungal decay during postharvest storage and transportation.
Features of paper
1. grape packing paper is available as a DUAL RELEASE sheet – both a fast release first stage to kill active Botrytis fungal spores combined with a second stage with a prolonged and controlled, continuous, protective low dose (for up to120 days) to prevent dormant spores from germinating – all in one sheet
2. grape packing paper is available as a SLOW RELEASE sheet – with only a slow release second stage – suitable for packers who prefer to pre-gas their grapes
3.grape packing paper does not emit sudden large bursts of gas if temperatures fluctuate during storage and transportation
4. grape packing paper is manufactured in a certified facility, the first sulphur dioxide generating sheet to receive this standard
5. grape packing paper is available in varying strengths to suit different table grape varieties/cultivars
6. grape packing paper is supplied anywhere in the world through a network of distributors and agents
Batch numbers printed on each sheet ensure traceability of the product
