Application
The notice when using acrylic sheet
All customer should understand acrylic sheet has high permeability luminosity, low turbidity, light but strong, good processing performance, rich color, excellent electrical insulation, excellent weather resistance,and is able to withstand high temperature, UV light , strong sun light irradiation , solvent resistanceand commonly used chemicals (it is best to avoid exposure to direct sunlight andhigh temperature contact of cigarette, etc.) ; Acrylic sheet also has high recycle rate. But the shortcomings of acrylic board is pooranti impact performance , but the modified acrylic plate can meet the performance requirements of anti impact in most occasions. But I also need to remind the company that acrylic sheet needs to be taken good care of no matter how you improve it.
Hope you pay attention to the following points:
1. Acrylic will be out of shape when temperature heating is 70 degrees , when heated to above 100 degrees, acrylic will be soften. So acrylic should be avoided to the application of above 100 degrees
2. Acrylic polishing, if it is a small scratch, it can be directly wiped with toilet paper or cloth dipped in a little toothpaste , if it is a big scratch, I don’t suggest grinding acrylic, if using sandpaper to grind, the product is discarded, and the entire surface is scratched, it will be worse.
,You should scrubAcrylic with soft cloth , due to electric phenomenon of dry cloth frictiononthe surface. So if there is a surface with dust, you can use soft cloth to wash it with the concentration of 1% soapy water , do not use any detergent containing granular objects, and do not use various chemical bath agent.
3. Acrylic is easy to crack. Due to surface hardness is equivalent to aluminum, so surface protection should be paid attention to when you take and put it.if encountered damages,you can use abrasive polishingwith yellow aluminum to restore the original beautiful surface
4. Acrylic thermal expansion coefficient is large, the expansion degree is about nine times larger than metal.Device or fixed to temperature changes should be considered, and fully set aside the expansion gap.
5. If the acrylic products is damaged, you can use IPS adhesive glue / methylenechloride adhesiveor quick drying adhesive.
6. If you want to make acrylic products glamorous, you can use liquid polishing wax, just wiping with soft cloth.
