Biobank Sample Management System (BSMS) is made for scientists enabling them to reorganize and track tubes and samples in just minutes. is compatible with 1D rack barcode and 2D tube code scanning, in turn allowing you to catalogue samples that have been scanned by lab equipment such as readers and scanners. The main concept behind BSMS is that each scientist in the lab can manage data and information quickly and make it available to the rest of the lab community. Via intranet support, data can be accessed from any connected computer in the lab, which accelerates information retrieval.

CODE READER INTEGRATION
The EasyCapture Code Reader Software is fully integrated with BSMS so that users can directly trigger tube or rack barcode scanning from the program. The database software enables users to scan barcodes in only 5 seconds and transfer the codes directly into BSMS. This way laboratories can markedly speed up their sample storage process compared to database programs in which users need to upload spread sheets with scanned codes. Additionally, BSMS is available in a version for Academic usage and a version for Private usage. The Academic version is an economical solution for research laboratories of university hospitals. The Private version is intended for forensics, agricultural, veterinary and governmental institutes, as well as companies in the biotech, food, chemical and pharmaceutical areas.
