Function&Application

Used as antirust and corrosion inhibitor of metal and water stabilizer.

1. It is widely used as antirust and corrosion inhibitor for metal, preparation of water quality stabilizer and antirust grease, as well as synthesis of photo anti dust and antifogging agent and vapor phase antirust agent

2. It can be used in extreme pressure industrial gear oil, hyperbolic gear oil, anti-wear hydraulic oil, oil film bearing oil, lubricating grease and other lubricating grease, and it can be used as antirust and vapor phase corrosion inhibitor

3. Used in antirust oil (grease) products, mainly used in copper and copper alloy vapor phase corrosion inhibitor circulating water treatment agent, automobile antifreeze, photographic antifogging agent, polymer stabilizer, plant growth regulator, lubricating oil additive, UV absorber, etc. This product can also be used with a variety of scale inhibitors, bactericides and algaecides.

4. Widely used for corrosion inhibition and rust prevention of copper and silver equipment. It can also be used for the preparation of photographic antifogging agent, antifogging agent and vapor phase antirust agent.

5. It is used to purify silver, copper and zinc on the surface in electroplating and has the function of anti discoloration. BTA and copper atoms form covalent bond and coordination bond, which are often substituted into chain polymer. A multilayer protective film is formed on the surface of copper to prevent oxidation-reduction reaction, hydrogen and corrosion. It has the same effect on lead, cast iron, nickel, zinc and other metal materials. BTA can be combined with a variety of corrosion inhibitors to improve the corrosion inhibition effect. It can also be used in combination with a variety of scale inhibitors, bactericides and algaecides, especially for the closed circulating cooling water system. In the automobile antifreeze glycol and water, the addition of BTA in the coating can volatilize the protective material.

6. BTA is a good UV absorber, which can play a stable role in UV sensitive products. For example, it can prevent the color fading of diazo dye, and it can prevent the color changing of sheet products such as paper, woven fabric, film, metal coin, etc. treated with BTA. In the process of machining, adding BTA into grinding oil and cutting oil can make the processed copper parts not discolored. It can also be used as an analytical reagent, in combination with ammonia water and diamine tetraacetic acid, for the selective determination of silver, copper and zinc.
