A: This pin is made to connect trailers or other towable implements compatable with lawn tractors or ATV's equipped with a flat,
horizontal single hole hitch. It replaces the typical hitch pin with a cumbersome spring clip retainer.
2.Q:Is the magnet supposed to stay on the pin?
A:The magnet stays on the metal hitch. I have to slide the magnet off the hitch and back on to the pin.

1.Works much better than the "standard" hitch pins, because the standard pins require the user to bend or kneel and reach under
the hitch to pull or insert the cotter retaining pin out of the hitch pin. The magnetic design eliminates that hassle. I hesitated
to buy it, but it fits perfectly and securely.
