Maybe this isn't the tool if you're fishing offshore but it is more than sufficient for crimping lighter weight terminal tackle. I've made a dozen rigs with it already, working with 90 pound and lighter wire, and the crimps appear well formed. We'll see what happens when I start fishing with the rigs.
