Working Principle

According to the difference in the color of the material, the equipment that automatically sorts the different-colored particles in the granular material.

Belt type color sorter’s advantages.

A. Belt-type color sorting machines break a smaller percentage of material. The product stays relatively static during the transport process as it moves horizontally on the belt. In contrast, material slides on the chute because of gravity, causing collision, friction, and larger vertical movements, thus worsening the broken ratio of the material.

B. Belt-type color sorters have a wide application range. One chute color sorter is usually applicable to certain products as the chute is designed for this kind of material based on sizes and shapes of the material at the very beginning. As a result, a chute color sorter can only work on certain products. It does not have multiple applications because of material-oriented chute design, and this problem does harm to sorting accuracy of other products. The appearance of belt sorters solved this problem with capability of wide applications.

C. Higher sorting accuracy. The belt structure makes the transmission smooth and stable without jumping of material. Belt sorting machines are designed friendly for color recognition, thus ensuring a higher sorting accuracy and lower carryover ratio.

D. Belt-type controlling the speed of transport of materials with a highly consistent mode, that means the time between camera's detecting of impurity and nozzles' ejection is always fixed, so the material will not be reaching the ejection point too early neither too late. Unlike chute type, the belt type color sorter has high accuracy because of the good control of transportation speed. However, the speed can't be changed as wish because in real application this will cause a lot of work for adjusting of camera.
