The mechanical symmetrical 3-roll rolling machine has 3 symmetrically arranged rolls and theupper roll is located at center of two lower rolls. A worm and gear drive and a screw rod andscrew auxiliary drive are used to drive rolls to move vertically. The gear on main speed reducer is used to mesh the gears of both lower rolls for rotation so as to provide torque for rolling plateMetal plate is located among three working rolls(two lower rolls and one upper roll)and subsequently continuously bent under pressure of upper roll and rotation of lower rolls to generate permanent plastic deformation on plate so as to roll the plate to required shape such as cylinder, taper cylinder or arcThe disadvantage of mechanical symmetrical 3-roll rolling machine is the end of plate can not be bent preliminarily.
Main Structure and How It Works
- Mechanical 3-roller symmetrical plate rolling machine.
- The machine is composed by two main parts, there are working parts and transmission parts. Working parts include two lower roller and one upper roller with roller bearings. The lower roller is the capstan, the upper roller is driven roller. Height of upper roller can be adjusted freely. Besides, the transmission part contain main motor, reduction box, etc.
- The main motor drive the main reduction box, and then the main reduction box drive the lower roller. Direction of rotation of the lower roller can be controlled by the main motor.
- Subsidiary motor drive the subsidiary reduction box, then the upper roller could perform vertical movement.
- Unloading equipment can help operator take out finished products.

The structure type of this machine is 3-roller symmetrical. Top roller does the movement of elevation in the central position of the two bottom rolls. It is transmitted by screw nut and worm gear. Two bottom rolls are main drive rollers. They rotate by the meshing between the output gear of the gear box and the bottom roller and supply the torque for bending plate. It is compact and easy operate and maintain. Extended shaft for profile bending.
