Application:

Like butyl paraben, it can be used as a preservative and antifungal agent for foods. At present, there are six kinds of parabens which are allowed to be used in Japan, such as ethyl ester, propyl ester, isopropyl ester, butyl ester, isobutyl ester and dibutyl ester. Among them, butyl ester has the strongest antibacterial effect. In general, the larger the number of carbon atoms of the alcohol constituting the ester, the stronger the antibacterial effect, and the opposite is true, and the smaller the number of carbon atoms, the greater the toxicity. The product has an inhibitory or killing effect on various molds and yeasts, and is not affected by pH. Limited to soy sauce, vinegar, refreshing drinks, sherbet, fruit sauce, fruit and melon and fruit vegetables (limited to the epidermis). The amount is 1.4 times that of p-hydroxybenzoic acid.

Easy to use, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, soluble in water, suitable for high water-based formulations
Compatible with a wide range of surfactants, proteins and most cosmetic ingredients
This product can be used in various remnant and rinse-off products such as creams, lotions, shampoos and masks.
We recommend a safe use of 0.05% to 0.8%.
