Biaxial geogrid is a kind of polymer macromolecules as the main raw material, adding a certain anti-ultraviolet, anti-aging additives, through the Biaxial geogrid stretch to the original distribution of scattered chain molecules reoriented in a linear state, Extruded into a thin plate and then punch the rules of the hole network, and then longitudinal stretching made of high-strength geotechnical materials. In this process, the polymer is oriented in a linear state and forms a long oval mesh structure with uniform distribution and high node strength.

The properties of Biaxial Geogrids, made in Polypropylene (PP) with their square apertures, high tensile strength and
optimised geometry of nodes and ribs make them equal to any other similar material.

The reinforcing action of PP Biaxial Geogrids lies mainly in confining soil and increasing its shearing resistance by a
process of interlocking between the square ribs and the soil. The load dispersal effect from the interlocking mechanism is highly
effective and can reduce sub-base thickness and construction cost.
