MTB Metallic Color Pigments are special effect pigments composed of mica nano-particles coated with various organic and inorganic pigments to create pearlescent and iridescent effects that mimic the natural look of stone and rock formations. 

Metallic pearl mica pigments and powders are sparkling glitter-like fine pigments that can be used for a wide variety of craft activities. It yields a beautiful 'faux' metallic color that exhibit different shades in changing light conditions to give unique shimmer effects.

Designed to be field blended with our100% solids clear Epoxy,when the metallic particles are mixed with epoxy they give the coating a shine that reflects light and creates eye-catching dramatic effects.

1)Floor Coating
Metallic epoxy floor coatings are a hot new trend that is slowly finding its way into the home as a very high tech and exotic looking flooring option. These coatings create a glossy and deep looking floor with a variety of different colors and visual effects. Some even create a beautiful three-dimensional appearance that gives the illusion of craters, ripples, and swirling rivers of metallic looking plasma.

As beautiful and stunning as these floors look, they are considered a high performance floor coating that is designed to last for years. For the first coat our waterbased epoxy primer needs to be installed. We recommend applying a tinted primer and find that black makes the metallic colors pop. The second coat involves the actual Designer Metallic Epoxy coat, followed by a third coat of clear epoxy on top.

Mixing Instructions

Pour appropriate amounts of epoxy PartA and Part B into a large mixing pail. Add 1kg of metallic pigment per each 50kgs of Epoxy, or until desired opacity is achieved. Stir gently with drill mixer for 3-5 minutes.

After Mixing with Epoxy Resin,the Finished Effect is
