COMPRESSION TEST
Compressive strength of our AAC is 500- 750 psi. Being a non-load bearing material, such compression strength is far more superior considering the fact that average compression strength of non-load bearing concrete hollow blocks is 350 psi.
FIRE RATING TESTS
AAC blocks and panels will not burn if subjected to fire. Fire rating of AAC is 4 hours which is double the average fire rating of 2 hours for other masonry materials.
SOUNDPROOF TESTS
AAC blocks and panels have superior sound reduction qualities that inhibits transmission of sound. For 100mm thickness, sound reduction is 44 dB (decibels) while for 150mm thickness, sound reduction is 55 dB (decibels)
SCREW PULL-OUT TEST/SINGLE POINT HANGING POWER TEST
AAC blocks and panels are most suited for wall mounting requirements. It can withstand heavy loads without the risk of screws losing its anchor. With a 1.50 inch screw fully inserted on an AAC block or panel, it can withstand a load of 80 kilograms before the screw will fail on the material.
WATER MOISTURE AND ABSORPTION
AAC blocks and panels have low moisture and water absorption qualities. Inherent average moisture of the material is 4.70 percent while average water absorption in a 24 hour period is 9 percent.
EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT
Since the material is lightweight and has less mass, it can withstand and be resistant to earthquakes.
THERMAL REDUCTION
AAC material has outstanding thermal reduction properties. It does not absorb heat due to its physical properties. This will therefore reduce HVAC costs in the long term.
We make sure that our AAC blocks and panels meet your standards.
