REPCON is an innovative textiles company located in Istanbul, Turkey, developing and manufacturing Angora wool blended apparels. It was established in 2005 by two entrepreneur twin sisters. They were inspired by their basic need and passion for feeling warm, since they are genetically carriers of Thalassemia minor. They need thermal base layers most of the year to feel warm and they know by experience, Angora is the most healthy and warm solution against cold.
Thus, REPCON is established as a realization of a dream, the urge to create forms which reflects our desire for warmth, creativity and the natural. Angora wool
Angora is a superfine natural fiber with unique features that no other man-made or natural fiber has. It is shorn from Angora rabbit. (No animal is harmed during the shearing process.) It is the best remedy for cold and warm, wet and dry weather use combining comfort and performance in one. Due to its hollow structure, Angora wool is the top performer at thermal regulation. Angora does not allow cold weather to disturb the micro-climate of human body which is very sensitive to temperature changes. It almost insulates the cold weather providing a buffering layer, while allowing body breathe constantly like a natural air ventilator. As a result, the micro-climate between clothing and skin is well preserved. Body temperature stays steady, and you feel a luxurious comfort right next to your skin.
Angora wool is a superfine fiber and does not have keratine scales other wools have. This makes it the softest and naturally non-itchy natural fiber. Angora is pure and clean and it does not go through any washing or chemical processes before use.

Angora Thermal Underwear has crucial importance in maintaining and sustaining thermal comfort of human body.
Thermal comfort is very important since it can affect the performance and productivity. Environmental conditions and the level of activity are 2 important factors in maintaining thermal comfort. The loss of body heat due to environmental conditions has a negative impact on the performance since the human metabolism has to balance this loss of heat by producing extra energy.
Thus, it is vitally important to keep the body heat at a constant level of 37°C by using a multifunctional base layer.
