Horny Goat Weed Extract 98% ICARIIN, the main active ingredient extracted from Epimedium, belongs an 8-prenylflavonoid glycoside compound. It can be extracted from the Epimedium sagittatum, Epimedium pubescens, Epimedium wushanense, Epimedium koreanum, dried leaves etc. horny goat weed extract 98% icariin is light yellow fine powder, melting point 231-232℃, soluble in ethanol and ethyl acetate, but insoluble in ether, benzene and chloroform.The aboveground part of Epimedium mainly contains flavonoids, and the underground part mainly contains flavonoids and alkaloids.
