What is a vented FIBC?
A vented bulk bag is constructed almost identically to a standard FIBC. It offers the same general construction options (spout top/bottom, duffle top/bottom, color options, etc.). The biggest difference between vented bags and standard bags is the thin strips along all four sides of the vented FIBC.
Instead of the standard polypropylene weave (woven polypropylene), these strips have single strands of fabric running horizontally that allow air to flow freely into the bag, thus giving these bags their vented property.
These Bags are specially designed to store food items like potatoes, onions etc. The ventilated fabric permits the required air flow through the fabric into the bag, thus preventing spoilage due to moisture and mold build-up. Usage of FIBC Ventillated Bags have eased the common supply chain issues of handling, storing and transporting food items, commonly witnessed with the 55/110 lbs woven sack bags.

There are limits to the sizes, but a standard bulk bag base dimension is 35’’ ×35’’, while the height of a bulk bag can range up to 96’’ plus inches tall.
