This tea was used an Imperial tribute tea back in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. The processing method of this tea was said to be lost and only to be re-discovered after the 70s. Since then, Huo Shan Huang Ya has been sent as tribute to many great leaders of China every year.

Product Details

Yellow tea is primarily manufactured into either a compact 'bird's beak' shape or a bulky 'bud and two leaves' pluck.

The volume-to-weight of these different leaf styles requires a teaspoon of the former and two heaping tablespoons of the latter.

Brew Guide

1. Generally, use 4g Jasmine tea per 200ml (7oz) water.

2. The water temperature for brewing green tea should be around 80º C.

3. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves, and wait for about 2 minutes' infusion.

4. Then enjoy the tea. Could brew 3-4 times.
