Neutral Grounding Resistors(NGRs) - sometimes called Neutral Earthing Resistors - are employed in medium-voltage AC distribution networks to limit the current that would flow through the neutral point of a transformer or generator in the event of an earth fault. NGRs limit fault currents to a value that does not cause any further damage to swetchgear, generators or transformers beyond what has already been caused by the fault itself.

FNGR10.5KV-200A-132Ω-10S-IP23 Neutral grounding resistors are designed to absorb a large amount of energy without exceeding temperature limitations. These resistors are used for grounding of generators and transformers in wye configurations for ground fault, overvoltage, and short circuit protection.
