The hole of protector must be trimmed with scissors to fit your gas stove properly before use. Cut the hole so edges are at least 1/2" to 1" from the flame when on highest setting. Protectors must be placed under burner grate below the flame. Protectors must be clear of any flame to avoid possible fire injuries or product damage.
