1.Question: Does it really block RFID? Has anyone tested it?

Answer: Yes! I believe I have. We have an access card to get into the building through a staff door where I work. You hold the access card up to the door scanner to unlock the door.
The access card reader attached to either side of the door uses a technology similar to RFID scanning to read the card and open the door for the staff member.

The scanners attached to the door are relatively powerful and can read an unprotected card through my purse at a near distance to the scanner. It also reads the card quickly when you scan it. To test the wallet, I've put my door access card in the RFID wallet, and held the wallet containing the card directly in front of the door scanner for close to a minute. The door happily fails to respond. Even though I'm holding the walleted card directly up to the scanner, the scanning rays are blocked by the RFID wallet the card is in. I've tested it several times and the door always fails to open when I attempt to scan it inside one of these wallets. Because of this, I feel quite confident that bad guys can't scan you're credit and bank cards once they are in one of these wallets. I feel quite secure using these and that the product works as advertised
