Light weight fire brick is a light refractory product with an AL2O3 content of 30%-48%. It is a heat-insulating refractory brick.

Light weight thermal insulation bricks are mainly made of clay clinker or lightweight clay clinker and plastic clay and are produced by combustible method. The ingredients are then mixed with water to make a puddle or slurry that can be extruded or cast, dried, and fired in an oxidizing atmosphere at 1250°C to 1350°C.
