Product Description

 1. Commercial Cider Brewery Equipment  Introduction

Microbrewery or minibrewery is typically applied to breweries that are much smaller than large

-scale corporate breweries and are independently owned. Such breweries are generally

characterized by their emphasis on flavor and brewing technique. We offer a Microbrewery

(mini brewery) with the productivity of 1000L (10 hl) to 5000L (50hl) per brew.

The service includes: complete set of microbrewery equipment, installation turn key, recipes

and technology of branded beers, staff training and more. Microbrewery comes complete

"turnkey" The performance of your Microbrewery (Brewery and mini brewery), if necessary,

can be increased in the future.

3. Commercial Cider Brewery Equipment Configuration

3.1 Malt Milling Unit

Milling is done to  better allow the mashing  liquor to access the centre of the barley. It is

important  that  the  grain  husk remain intact, as the husks are  used to form a filter bed

during lautering. At the end of milling, the brewer should be left with a range of fragments

of barley,  but  no  whole  grains,  and largely intact husks. There should be little flour, as

this  leads to haze in the final beer and is poorly retained by the husk bed in the lautering

process.  It is also  important  that most of the endosperm is broken up, leading to better

conversion  of  the  starch to sugars.

Mashing tun

Mash tun is a vessel used in the mashing process to convert the starches in crushed grains into sugars for fermentation. Tiantai mash tuns are insulated to maintain a constant temperature. The mash tun can be single-function or can also have a false bottom and spigot so that the sparging process can be done in the same vessel. Steam jacket design will allow The TBE systems are designed to do both decoction mashing and infusion mashing. The mashing tun/kettle is made out of stainless steel or coppe.

Lauter tun

The lauter tun is used for filtering and clarifying the sugar liquid (called wort) out of the heated water-malt mixture (called mash) that comes from the mashing tun.
The lauter tun typically has the same capacity as the cooking tun and can also be made out of stainless steel or copper cladding. It has a design with a false bottom in stainless steel v-wire and a raking gear that has the function of an agitator, a rake and a spent gain remover. This is a very unique and helpful tool because after filtering the spent grains will be automatically removed from the lauter tun, saving a lot of time and energy of the brewmaster.

Boiling Kettle

After lautering, the beer wort is boiled with hops (and other flavourings if used) in a large tank known as a brew kettle. The boiling process is where chemical and technical reactions take place, including sterilization of the wort to remove unwanted bacteria, releasing of hop flavours, bitterness and aroma compounds through isomerization, stopping of enzymatic processes, precipitation of proteins, and concentration of the wort.

Whirlpool Tun

At the end of the boil, the hopped wort settles to clarify in a vessel called a "whirlpool" where there is a tangential inlet of wort. Thus, a vortex is formed when the wort is infused along the arc inside surface, so that the more solid particles in the wort are separated out. Whirlpool can happen in the kettle because there is no obstacle inside the kettle.

3.3 Fermentation Unit

Standard stainless steel conical cylindrical fermentation tanks

Single size as brewhouse is common used in restaurant

Tanks quantity is exactly calculated by fermentation cycle for various beers

All manhole, valves, pressure gauges, fittings etc are included

3.4 Beer Filter Unit

In restaurant or bar, beers are always served as craft beer without filtration

3.5 Bright Tank Unit

Bright  beer tanks are often also called  serving tanks, tax  determination  tanks or clear

beer tanks (=CBTs),  bright  beer tanks  (=BBTs) or  maturation or  conditioning  tanks.

These  tanks  are  used  for the storage of the beer prior to being served or packaged.

Depending on their application the beer serving tanks can be glycol jacketed or can be

located in a  cold  room. For brewpubs serving is often done by pumping or pressurizing

the beer toward the serving location.

3.6 Cooling Unit

Every  brewery  is  equipped  with  one  or multiple cooling systems. These are used for

controlling  the  heat  generated  during  the fermentation process, cooling water in the

cold liquor tank, keeping beer cold in "python lines", cooling distribution tanks, as a wort

chiller  or  wort  cooler  etc .TBE can offer you both cooling systems for cold rooms and

glycol  cooling  systems in various sizes  to meet the requirements of your brewery. The

glycol cooling  system includes stainless steel insulated ice water tank, chiller with fryon

as  refrigerant  and  glyco l water recycle pipings. The ice water tank is used to contain

the liquid  mixed with city water and glycol  which freezing point will be as low as 5 to 7

degree  below  zero.  One unit of vertical copper coil submerged in center of the tank to

allow freezed  fryon from  chiller  recycle  inside,  thus  the  glycol  water  is  cooled. Air

cooled  and  water cooled chillers are available to fit various ambient temperature. Fryon

is  usually  R22  or  R404A  in brewery  industry.  Flowing  along with  the  glycol pipings,

cooled  glycol  liquid on one side will be supplied to cool the hot wort in after mashing to

get  fermentable  temperature  and the other  side  will  flow  into  the  glycol  jacket  in

fermentation  tanks  or bright tanks to keep a request temperature. TBE company supply

mainly  brewing  grade  PVC  glycol  piping  while  stainless  steel pipings are designed as

special request.

3.7 Controlling Unit

Electrical panels are needed for supplying the various brewery elements with power and

brewery control panels to operate the brewery and control the various processes. Most

of  the  time  a  number  of  panels  are  foreseen  throughout  the brewery for ease of

operation and to control the brewing process.

TBE  designs  and  manufactures  brewery  controlling  system  in  various  types.  The

traditional control panel is the common used. Brewer finishes the pump, motor on/off by

button,  read  temperature  directly  from  digital indicator. All parts are standard which

allow easy  maintenance  and  replacement.  However,  all valves are manual controlled.

The  more  modern control panel is integrated and programmed in PLC and touch screen

display. Of course, this is also treated as semiautomatic control because the valves are

still  manual  type.  The  most  fashional  controlling  is  PLC  or  computer  control with

electronic or pneumatic valves. The whole process can be done by one start instruction

along with the pre-setupprogram.
