--White orthorhombic crystal. Nonvolatile, nonhygroscopic, smell-less. High stability at normal temperature and can maintain original quality for several years. Freely soluble in water and liquid ammonia, strongly acidic in water solution.
--Slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in ethanol and ether. Characteristics of double functional group of amidogen and sulfonic radical, may go on chemical reaction with many matters.
--Melting point is 205℃, decomposing temperature is 209℃.
Use:
As a cleaning agent of descaling:
Sulphamic Acid is effective descaling agent, It is used for cleaning kinds of industrial equipment and domestic appliances. It can remove rust, limescale, corrosion.
