Description of tempered glass

Tempered glass is a kind of pre-stressed glass, to improve the strength of the glass, typically using a chemical treatment or physical  hardening treatment method, form a pressure in the glass surface, the glass surface exposed to external stress when the first offset, thereby improving the carrier ability to enhance glass itself wind pressure resistance, cold and heat resistance, impact resistance and so on.

Advantages of tempered glass

1.Security: When the glass is external damage, Debris will become very small obtuse angle grains and difficult to cause harm to humans.
2.High strength: the impact strength tempered glass of the same thickness of ordinary glass 3 to 5 times more than the ordinary glass ,bending strength 3-5 times.
3.Thermal stability: Tempered glass has good thermal stability, can withstand the temperature is more than 3 times that of ordinary glass, can withstand 200 °C temperature changes.

Description of laminated glass

 Laminated glass is made by good quality adhesive interlayer and advanced bond technology. Laminated Glass is a kind of glass made up of two or more sheets of top quality glass bonded together with a polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer. After the PVB interlayer has been placed between the glass sheets, the whole assembly is subjected to heat and pressure. This makes the complete adhesion of the vinyl and the glass. In the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain bonded to the plastic interlayer. 

Advantages of laminated glass

1,Extremely high safety: The PVB interlayer withstands penetration from impact. Even if the glass cracks, splinters will adhere to the interlayer and not scatter. In comparison with other kinds of glass, laminated glass has much higher strength to resist shock, burglary, burst and bullets.

2,Energy-saving building materials: PVB interlayer impedes the transmission of solar heat and reduces cooling loads.

3,Sound control: PVB interlayer is an effective absorber of sound.

Description of insulated glass

Insulated glass is a prefabricated unit made of two or more glass panes, which have been separated by an air gap and edge_sealed together. This edge seal not only binds the individual sheets of glass together to maintain the mechanical strength of the joint but also protects the space between the glass from outside influences. The air enclosed between the two glass panes is dried with a desiccant. Because of the low heat conductivity of the enclosed dry air between the glass panes, heat transmission through the window is drastically reduced. Tempered, Laminated, reflective, low-E, tinted or clear glass can be used.
