This Liquid/Air intercooler is built for massive boost. Special innovations in the core and end tanks allow it to operate at continuous pressure of up to 150 PSI.
Each of these intercoolers is pressure tested to hold 170 PSI for 30 minutes at the end of production. The trade off is that a slightly thicker metal is used in the intercooler, reducing efficiency.
100% Lightweight aluminum, No Epoxy Used In Core
Fin pitch is 17 fins/inch - 8.5 air side and 8.5 water side.
Recommended for up to 1500 CFM / 1200 HP
Pressure Drop: Less than 0.2 PSI. This is not a typo! Liquid/Air Intercoolers have incredibly low pressure drop.
Inlet: 3.5" Outlet: 3.5"
Core Size: 10"x9"x4.5" (Endtanks add to length)
Maximum water/air pressure: 150 PSI
This intercooler has the inlet and outlet on the SAME SIDE.
