The young's modulus is measured by static tensile method. When the vertical wire is stretched by the weight of M, the length mark decreases with the elongation of steel wire. We can observe the change of steel wire through the reading microscope with minimum graduation 0.05mm. This experiment instrument uses CCD instead of human eye observation, which is easy to observe and reduce light fatigue. The lens of the CCD camera converges the optical image of the microscope onto the CCD, and transfers the image on the camera on the video cable to the monitor.
