Q2. HOW DO I REDUCE THE STRONG PLASTIC SMELL FROM MY NEW Cutting MAT?
Ans: Due to production and distribution, a new KingCup cutting mat can emit an odorous smell. To overcome this smell, we suggest the mat be wiped down with a solution of equal parts lukewarm water and white vinegar, then let it set for five minutes. Afterward, rinse off the mat and towel dry. Repeat as needed.

The odor is caused by the self-healing materials and generally the odor may happen. There are some tricks to get the odor out: Wash the mat with a mild soap and let it air out. this could take some weeks. Store the mat in a sealed container with some coffee beans or some crumpled up newspaper.

Q3. MY MAT IS FULL OF FUZZ FROM WORKING WITH FLEECE. HOW CAN I CLEAN IT?
Ans: Fleece fibers are naturally attracted to your self-healing cutting mat. To clean your KingCup cutting mat, use a generous amount of room-temperature water and a few drops of mild detergent. Use a soft, mild bristle brush such as a toothbrush or mushroom brush to create a lather and gently clean your mat. Rinse with room-temperature water and wipe dry with a cotton towel. Please note that warm or hot water and direct sunlight may damage the mat.

Q4. WHAT IS KingCup'S LARGEST SIZE Cutting MAT?
Ans: KingCup's largest size cutting mat is the 36" x 71". The mats with 2 both side grid imprinted. These mats are perfect for protecting the surface of a quilter's cutting table or any working table.

Q5. MY Cutting MAT IS WARPED; HOW DO I FLATTEN IT?
Ans: Unfortunately, there is no way to flatten your Cutting mat once it has been warped. This is why it is very important to take the time to read the care instructions on your mat. Proper care is the only way to secure the life of your Cutting mat. If you have an KingCup® Cutting Mat that is warped, set this aside for use with paper projects.

However, you may try this to fix it: You can flatten the mat by inserting some of cookie sheets in the fridge till very cold. Place your cutting mat on the counter and place the frozen cookie sheets on surface and weigh them down with something flat and heavy. Leave them during this position till the mat has flattened once more for a couple of hours. this can typically solve the deformation drawback. don't use heat to undertake to mend this, heat can do a lot of harm.
