 Ear tag can be used in large or medium size livestock or animals, such as pig, cow, lamb, horse, deer, dog and so on. 

It can be widely applied in all the field of information management for animals and livestock, such as breeding population, epidemic prevention and quarantine control.

Basically, there are 2 parts in ear tag, which is male tag and female tag.

We have 2 different colors and size for making tag.

Yellow:

1. Male tag: Diameter 30 mm, thickness: 1.35mm (1.18 “, thickness: 53 mil)

Female tag: 72*45mm*2.85mm (2 19/20*1 4/5” thickness: 112 mil)

2. HDX Male tag: Diameter 31 mm, thickness: 2 mm (1 1/10”, thickness: 78.7mil)

Female tag: Diameter 28 mm, thickness: thick 14.5mm, thin 6.15mm (1 1/10”, thickness: 57/100” 6/25”)

Pink:

1. Male tag: Diameter 32 mm, thickness: 1.35mm(1 1/4” thickness: 53 mil)

2. Female tag: Diameter 21 mm, thickness: 2.85mm (41/50” thickness: 112 mil)

RFID system for ear tags (2 categories):

LF: 125 KHz or 134.2 KHz; UHF: 860-960 MHz

Frequently-used chips for ear tag are:

A. LF (125 KHz or 134.2 KHz)

1. EM4200 (Memory size: 128 bits)

2. ATA5577 (Memory size: 363 bits)

3. Hitags256 (Memory size: 256 bits)

4. TK4100 (Memory size:64 bits)

B. UHF: (860-960 MHz)

Frequently-used chips for ear tag are:

1. Higgs 3 (Memory size: 512 bits)

 Reading distance:

LF ear tag: Up to 2-3 cm (depend on the size of the tag)

UHF ear tag: Up to 3 m (antenna and reading system dependent)

1. The material of this product contains no lead and toxic. ROHS standard is adapted to the whole manufacturing process. Plastic cover is made of polyurethane which would not stimulate skin.

2. The tag has two kinds-male tag or female tag. The two parts of a tag are stuck together by ultrasonic wave. By this way they would never fall off.

3. The encoding format of this product completely meets the standard of ISO11784/5.

The unchangeable UID would be encoded in the product before ex-work.

4. It is used as ID of domestic animal, such as cow, sheep, pig, deer, dog and others which have ears.

Management:

1. Ear tag can be written some data in it base on the memory size of the chip.

2. Nail the ear tag into animal’s ear with Universal total Tagger or Ultra Retract-O-Matic.

3. RFID reader can detect the ear tags and help to transmit information to the computer for animal management.

Physical/Environment:

With tamper proof design and polyurethane material, our ear tag can work in -10℃ to 60 ℃, resist +/- 5KV peak.
