Indications:

Calcium Alginate is a high water absorbent wound dressing. They are indicated for moderate to heavily exudating wounds, such as:

• Leg ulcers

• Pressure ulcers

• Diabetic ulcers

• Cavity wounds

• Surgical wound

• Ulcers of various origins(venous, arterial)

• Acute wounds such as skin donor sites, post Cooperative surgical wounds, superficial and partial thickness burns, lacerations and abrasions.
