Tips: If you want ice hockey puck just for promotion or souvenir, then silicone material or PU foam would be better choices, because silicone pucks can make more bright colors as your pantone color and it's easy to handle it. PU foam hockey pucks are cheaper and light weight
3. Process: vulcanized rubber
Vulcanization is the process to make the linear polymer of rubber compound turn into the reticular polymer by means of high temperature and pressure. That is the process transform plastic rubber into the elastic rubber or hard rubber. The vulcanizing temperature and time is usually determined by the size and the thickness of the product. In general, the temperature will reach to 180-220 degree and the time range varies from several seconds to several minutes.
