The LH Gold Rapid Screen Test (RST) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection

of luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine to aid in the detection of ovulation.

Intended use

Using immunochromatography one-step principle to determinate of women’s urine luteinizing hormone 

levels change. The test strip uses monoclonal antibody technology and new gold standard color technology,

continuous use of the strips can be dynamically measured in urine of women luteinizing hormone (LH)

Test principle

LH is the key hormone to promote the dischargement of egg and formation of luteinization, only when the

secretion be normal or reaches a certain amount that be able to start ovulation. The test strip uses 

monoclonal antibody technology and new gold standard color technology, continuous use of the strips 

can be dynamically measured in urine of women luteinizing hormone (LH) changes.

Precaution
1. For in vitro diagnostic use only.
2. Do not use after expiration date.
3. Test device should remain sealed until use. 

Specimen Collection

1. Do not use first morning urine samples as LH is synthesized in your body early in the morning.  It will 

    not show up in your urine until later in the day.

2. The best time to collect your urine is between 10am and 8pm.

3. Collect urine at about the same time each day.

4. Reduce liquid intake about 2 hours before collecting your urine as a diluted urine sample can prevent

    the test from detecting the LH surge.

Result

1. Negative: Only one color band appears on the control region, or the test band appears but is lighter 

                    than the control band. This means there is no LH surge.

2. Positive: If two color bands are visible, and the test band is equal to or darker than the control band,

                  one will probably ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. If trying to get pregnant, the best time to

                  have intercourse is after 24 but before 48 hours.

3.  Invalid:  No visible band at all. Repeat with a new test kit.
