The Mxim series of horizontal plate clamps are suitable for the lifting, turning and transporting of plates with sensitive surfaces without leaving behind indentations. It is especially suited for aluminum and stainless steel plate or those with extremely hard surfaces. The spring-loaded tightening lock mechanism assures a positive initial clamping force. Heavy-duty  steel plate clamps with articulated eyes for lifting and transport of steel plates. They allow lifting of plates from difficult angles that might otherwise stress conventional clamps.

Application: l lifting of steel plate.
Material: Low carbon alloy steel.
Loading range:0 to 20 ton.

One piece of clamp is used for the testing, and one piece or two pieces are recommended for lifting operation.
Multi plate can not be lifted. Only lift one piece of clamp one time. Up the lock lever to tighten lock spring when it under loading. Down the lock lever to loose lock spring, when you could unload.
The load object shall not touch anything when operating, over loading is prohibited.
Test load is 2 times of working load.
With lock spring during the clamp non-work condition, locking device going in nature step-up, put the object in the clamp, the strength becomes the proportion enhancement.

lifting clamps are equipped with a pre-tension mechanism ensuring the clamp does not slip when lifting force is applied and when load is being lowered.The clamp is locked in closed as well as in open position
.Minimum WLL is 10% of the maximum WLL
Note: The plate surface of the material must have hardness lever below HRC30/Brinell 300
Trips:
.Do NOT side load clamp more than 15 degrees for side loading
.DO NOT lift plates with a temperature greater than 100 degrees
.DO NOT use to lift stainless steel, lead or copper.
.DO NOT use on a double, triple, or quad sling. When using two clamps to lift a steel plate, a lifting beam must be used between the two clamps, so the clamps operate in a vertical position.
