The Company has been in existence for 6 years since established in 2005. The businesses are closely related the swiftlet house, including designing and construction of swiftlet house, improving the related equipments for product diversification, providing professional strategic location consultancy and implementing strategic partnership programmes. The Company has received recognition from the many birdhouse owners because of its unique birdhouse designs and diverse features.

In order to expand and better in serving the different level of customers, in 2009 the Company has been divided into 2 different independent companies; Golden Swift Engineering Sdn Bhd and Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd. Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd is principally engaged in the production and wholesale of birdhouse equipments, EBN cleaning and packaging for export. Golden Swift Engineering Sdn Bhd mainly provides professional birdhouse contracting, consulting services and selecting of strategic locations provides birdhouse interior design and construction services.

In May 2011, Yanming has gone to another level with the publishing of the world's first EBN processing guidebook Bird's Nest. APPROVAL AS ANCHOR COMPANY FOR ENTRY POINT PROJECT #2 (EXPANDING THE PRODUCTION OF SWIFLET NESTS) UNDER THE NATIONAL KEY ECONOMIC AREAS(NKEA)Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd investing to increase its edible bird's nest production capabilities. By investing in additional processing space and state-of-the-art technology, Yanming expects to double production by 2015. Yanming's investment support EPP2: Expanding the Production of Swiftlet Nests. Yanming will increase mechanization in the processing line, up to 60 per cent from the current 10 per cent. Amongst the new technologies that will be used in the production line are auto-air pressure vacuum machines which will automate the separation of fur from the nests, ultraviolet lighting to eliminate bacteria from the nests, and an air-dry vacuum and calibrator to dry the nests as well as ensure a uniform shape in the packaging of the birds' nests.

The focus on automation will allow the company to tap into the global market for swiftlet nests worth RM10.2 billion annually, of which Malaysia is the second largest producer with RM1.5 billion in sales. Increased automation resulting in consistent quality will also allow Malaysian producers to maintain their 20 per cent premium in the global market relative to Indonesia.

At the same time, Yanming will spare no effort in promoting series of birdhouse technical classes and bird's nest cleaning skills classes so that everyone could be an entrepreneur.

1. What certification does Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd provide to ensure Food Quality and Safety?

Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd is one of the pioneer in bird nest industry since 2010. We are a "quality Guarantee" bird nest industry where we ensure full compliance of HACCP, GVHP, MeSTI, GMP and we are also the first batch registered and established exporters of bird nest to China under CNCA Certification. Meanwhile, we are in the process of being certified of ISO 22000, HALAL and also VHM to enhance our product standardization. 

2. Tell me about Yanming Resources Bird's Nest. 

We are certified and compliance company in manufacturing and production of raw clean edible bird nest. We produce various kind of raw clean EBN, specifically known as "Soak Free Stew ready To Cook" EBN. All of our raw material are 100% from bird house harvesting registered with Department of veterinary Services to ensure good monitoring and harvesting procedure of the raw edible bird nest. 

3. Do you have a retail outlet? 

No, we don't have any retail outlet yet as we focus more on selling and exporting the bird nest directly to the end consumers to ensure and maintain our product quality. However, it will be in our business development list soon depends on the customers and market demand. 

4. Is there any import/export regulatory basis I need to apply? 

We are actively exporting our product to China. In compliance with the MOA and DVS, we will provide export permit and Form E (ACFTA) upon every orders and sales agreement sealed. For other country than China, consumers/buyers will need to check with their local authority and regulatory on Bird Nest's import and free Trade availability. 

5. How long does it takes to ship? 

Our monthly basis shipment took about 3-4 weeks to complete the whole shipment process starting from the sales agreement sealed, export procedure and declaration of the received items. 6. Do you offer customized packaging? 

Yes, we do offer customized packaging; whether the material comes from the consumers itself or we help to get best attractive and safe packaging for your best consumption. 

7. What is the nutritional value of your bird nest product? 

Our bird nest product are a green base processing and manufacturing where we do not include or add in any additional preservative or chemical. We ensure 100% authenticity of the bird nest. Meanwhile, we also pick the best raw material and grading of the raw material helps to ensure high protein content and amino acid of the bird nest. We also monitor our daily basis process accordingly to maintain the product quality. In fact, we perform continuous shelf life study and test to retain our product safety and quality.
