The Company has been in existence for 6 years since established in 2005. The businesses are closely related the swiftlet house, including designing and construction of swiftlet house, improving the related equipments for product diversification, providing professional strategic location consultancy and implementing strategic partnership programmes. The Company has received recognition from the many birdhouse owners because of its unique birdhouse designs and diverse features.
In order to expand and better in serving the different level of customers, in 2009 the Company has been divided into 2 different independent companies; Golden Swift Engineering Sdn Bhd and Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd. Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd is principally engaged in the production and wholesale of birdhouse equipments, EBN cleaning and packaging for export. Golden Swift Engineering Sdn Bhd mainly provides professional birdhouse contracting, consulting services and selecting of strategic locations provides birdhouse interior design and construction services.
In May 2011, Yanming has gone to another level with the publishing of the world’s first EBN processing guidebook Bird’s Nest. Based on the principle of “creating opportunity, establishing brand, going international”, Yanming is committed to establishing bridge between swiftlet ranchers, vendors and consumers; enlightening swiftlet entrepreneurs about the business; providing the EBN industry with clear approach to success; helping the EBN vendors and managers to improvement themselves; providing reliable information to the consumers to
enable them to better understand the market trends and move ahead with time.The world’s first EBN processing guide book Bird’s Nest is one of the trans-boundary, leading initiative project, giving Malaysia some new perspectives in international businesses opportunities, enable the EBN industry to reposition itself in the market, bringing together the new entrepreneurs and the new innovative business ideas, and also making the EBN industry to set their eyes on the vast emerging markets in East Asia, Europe and the North America.
The 8th Steering Committee of the NKEA Agriculture has approved YanMing Resources to be one of the anchor company for EPP2. APPROVAL AS ANCHOR COMPANY FOR ENTRY POINT PROJECT #2 (EXPANDING THE PRODUCTION OF SWIFLET NESTS) UNDER THE NATIONAL KEY ECONOMIC AREAS(NKEA)Yanming Resources Sdn Bhd investing to increase its edible bird's nest production capabilities. By investing in additional processing space and state-of-the-art technology, Yanming expects to double production by 2015. Yanming's investment support EPP2: Expanding the Production of Swiftlet Nests. Yanming will increase mechanization in the processing line, up to 60 per cent from the current 10 per cent. Amongst the new technologies that will be used in the production line are auto-air pressure vacuum machines which will automate the separation of fur from the nests, ultraviolet lighting to eliminate bacteria from the nests, and an air-dry vacuum and calibrator to dry the nests as well as ensure a uniform shape in the packaging of the birds' nests.
The focus on automation will allow the company to tap into the global market for swiftlet nests worth RM10.2 billion annually, of which Malaysia is the second largest producer with RM1.5 billion in sales. Increased automation resulting in consistent quality will also allow Malaysian producers to maintain their 20 per cent premium in the global market relative to Indonesia.
At the same time, Yanming will spare no effort in promoting series of birdhouse technical classes and bird’s nest cleaning skills classes so that everyone could be an entrepreneur.
