Soapnut found in Nepal are of superior quality because of the climatic and ecological diversity of the country. Likewise, the places—where these berries are grown—belong to the lap of the mighty Himalayas that stand guard at the northern part of the country. With its enormous diversity of altitude and climate, even in a short span of areas, there are possibility for these berries to settle and grow at the exact favorable location. As a result, a perfect and organic (Soap) berry are grown in Nepal.

 

Furthermore, the areas where these berries are collected are one of the most difficultly accessible terrain of the hilly region of Nepal. As a result, only way of life is organic, i.e. without any chemical of any kind. This assures the organic production of these soapberries in those mountains.

 

Sapindus Mukorossi Gaertn called by different name e.g. Soap Nuts, Rhita, Ritha, Washing Nuts, Soapberry ,Soapnut etc. There are two different type of species available in the world.

1. Sapindus Trifolitas - Native products of India, China,Indonesia,Pakistan & Bangaladesh this products is very poor quality like a sticky,dark color, low saponin contents . 

2. Sapindus Mukorossi Gaertn - Which isnative products of Nepal available in different parts of Nepal's jungle which have very high saponin contents,fresh color (honey) & big shells. So that in these days the products of Nepal (Sapindus Mukorossi Gaertn) more popular all over the world.
